Mixed-signal IC design engineer
As a mixed-signal designer, you will develop integrated circuits for analog and digital signal processing. You will be responsible for research, simulation, layout, and evaluation of the circuits. You can be part of a larger project team or be the principle designer in a project, in which case you will also be responsible for the development and monitoring of project schedules.
Requirements:
- Masters or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Understanding of analog circuits at transistor level.
- Experience with IC design tools, such as the analog Cadence environment for design, simulation, and layout.
Besides these requirements, we value competences in the following areas:
- Analysis and high-level modeling with tools such as Matlab/Simulink.
- Experience with digital signal processing, VLSI design and design-tools.
- Knowledge of, or interest in, digital interfaces (for data communication).
- Affinity with data converter design, as this one of the core competences of Axiom IC.
